Thermaltake Tt Level 20 Gaming Desk Review

For those who find the standard look of standing desks to be a little square, the Thermaltake Tt Level 20 Battlestation RGB Gaming Desk is an alternative that can breathe life into a room. While a little on the pricier side, many find its fully controllable RGB lighting panel to be a worthy trade-off.

Standing desks have been a well-received appliance from its early stages. Back then, their sole purpose was to give users an alternative to the usual computer desks that didn’t allow changes in working position. Now, standing desks are more versatile and multifunctional than ever. While they still retain the main selling point of being fully height-adjustable, they also have the added benefits of better design, cable management options, storage spaces, and more.

And when it comes to innovation, this desk is one product that does not disappoint. In this review, we’ll be taking a closer look at its specs and perks to see if it is, in fact, a worthy investment.

Benefits of the Thermaltake Tt Level 20 Battlestation RGB Gaming Desk

With the advent of standing desks, they have become a lot easier to find. While ultimately a good thing, it also makes the problem of finding a trustworthy table just a little bit harder. To find out what sets the desk apart from other standing desks in the market, we’ll have to take a closer look at its functions.

RGB Lighting

Many standing desks offer versatility design-wise, but none really go beyond the typical wooden finish and steel leg. This is certainly not a problem for those looking for a minimalist addition to their office or home environment. But those who find these designs to be a little simplistic will look forward to the Thermaltake Tt Level 20 Battlestation RGB Gaming Desk‘s unique take.

Designed with a vivid RGB led strip around the tabletop, this standing desk takes gaming aesthetics to another level. It comes with 8 dynamic lighting effects. Thanks to the iTake gaming engine, you get customizable full-system lighting synchronization across all compatible peripherals, power supply, and cooling products.

Spacious Desk Area

The desk has one of the largest working areas we’ve seen in a standing desk. Measuring 64.9 x 29.5 inches, the desk has more than enough surface area to house a monitor or two, a large keyboard, Bluetooth speakers, and any other accessory you can think of. To be safe, it’s best to check each appliance you’re loading onto the table so it doesn’t exceed the indicated weight limit.

To avoid any wobbling, we also recommend placing each apparatus along the center of the table so the weight is evenly distributed. But with the standing desk’s 330-lb weight capacity, we don’t think wobbling would be a problem. As we mentioned above, the height range goes from 27.5 inches to 43 (without desktop thickness). As a way to keep your wires organized, the Tt RGB Plus also comes with a cable management system.

Full-Surface Mouse Pad

Did we mention the entire desk surface is a mousepad? More than convenience, the optimized surface makes working long hours less painful and more ergonomic. The full-surface mouse pad allows flexibility in your workstation setup as well as increased travel lengths.

As an added benefit, the desk also has a two-stage lifting system that lets you adjust heights with ease. However, we recommend this standing desk for users of average height, as those over 6′ may find the top-end height of only 43.3 to be unstable or simply too short.
